How Does
Surrogacy Work?

Read Lorraine’s Story

It was thrilling and terrifying to be the one in charge, but I love the challenge and I love my team so it makes it all worthwhile.” – Lorraine Brown (Founder and CEO of ANU Fertility)

ANU Fertility

A Chronology of Events

Lorraine’s epic story of Surrogacy began during a simple conversation with a friend struggling with infertility. “It’s always so black and white when you’re young. Meet someone, fall in love, get married and have babies. It’s the natural order of life.”

After researching Surrogacy for the first time in 2005, she realized that life also offers many shades of grey. Surrogacy and adoption is not everyone’s first choice for starting a family, but not everyone has that luxury.

A chance meeting with a friend set her life on a new course, a path toward the beautiful world of Surrogacy. When asked why she did what she did, the answer is immediate and direct:

“For the love it!”
