G’day, we are Ed and Lachie from Sydney, Australia. Ed is 47, born in Dublin, Ireland but has loved being down under for the last 19 years. Lachlan, 35, is a Sydney boy and has also lived in Montreal. We met in 2016 and immediately felt a mutual spark. We celebrated our marriage in 2023 on Sydney harbour surround by friends and family.

As a Teacher, Lachlan is motivated by supporting a life-long love for learning. He understands the importance of supporting people to explore their strengths and individuality. Ed has a background as a scientist and works in Healthcare. Ed also enjoys volunteering with The Mirabel Foundation supporting kids in kinship care with tutoring.

We are close to our families, both in Australia and Ireland. Kids are quickly becoming a big part of our social lives, with many of our friends and family starting to have their first or second kid. We now know all the best playgrounds, picnic spots and beaches to ensure our family is enjoying the Australian sun.

Ed is usually submerged in water either swimming or scuba diving. While Lachlan is more likely to be found beached on a towel with a book and an iced latte, regardless of the season. Ed enjoys competing in Triathlons and Lachlan has developed a powerful set of lungs supporting from the finish line.

We are so grateful to you for taking the time to read a little bit about us. Surrogacy and starting a family fills us both with a sense of love. We are both so humbled by the generosity it takes to contemplate joining our family trough a surrogacy journey. We would love a surrogate to become a friend who is willing to share the significant role they played in creating our family with our child.
