First, before we share our story, we just want to say — from the bottom of our hearts — thank you for taking the time to read our profile and for considering us as intended parents. Surrogacy is such a remarkable and selfless gift, and we are deeply grateful for people like you who make dreams like ours possible.
We are David & Chris, both aged 38 from Melbourne, Australia. We began dating in 2015 and got engaged whilst on holiday in Singapore in 2019. We have long term plans to get married but have decided to hold off and enjoy a long engagement so we can prioritise starting our family.
Regarding our professions, Chris runs an investment fund and David works as a civil engineer developing railway projects. Outside of work, we spend a lot of time with our close circle of friends and our large extended family, whom we love very much.
Balanced with our busy social life, we also love to spend downtime indulging in our hobbies. Chris loves gardening and photography and David loves cooking. We also enjoy travelling, as far and frequently as possible.
As a couple, we have always visualised having a family and knew that we would need the support of a surrogate to make that happen. We appreciate that as intended parents, we are not the only ones entering this experience with high hopes. Like us, surrogates (like you!) are approaching this journey with your own dreams of what this process will bring.
Aside from the ultimate goal of having a child, our great hope is to meet a surrogate that we can build a lasting friendship with. Ultimately, we would like to be able to one day tell our child the incredible story of how they came to be, and for them to know all the remarkable people that helped us make them a reality.
