A little about us!

James – Born in Seoul, South Korea. Came to the US at 8 months old and grew up in San Diego, California. Now in Los Angeles working as a casting director for television and film.

Eddy – Born and raised in Inner Mongolia, China. Lived most of adult life in Beijing. Moved to Los Angeles in 2017 and working as a manager of marketing and business development for an animation studio.

Our story began when we matched on Tinder in Barcelona! It only takes that one swipe to the right that matters! And here we are 7 years later. Ever since we started dating, we’ve always had the passion and dream of becoming parents. We knew it wasn’t going to be the easiest journey but we knew that we will do what it takes of achieving our dream. We were fortunate enough to meet the lovely women that have taken such great care of us at Anu in finding our amazing donor (who we had the honor and pleasure of meeting and have kept in touch with) and are beyond excited to meet the person who in a way is the final missing piece to this beautiful puzzle.

Some of our interests and hobbies are food, food, and food! Ok, aside from food, we love music, going to concerts, music festivals, traveling, we love to play tennis (some of our favorite tennis players are Canadian!), spend time with family and friends, and we love to talk about all the what ifs of being a father and envisioning what life will be like.

We can’t wait to meet you and get to know you, and even if we never get to meet, thank you to all of you surrogates who help people like us live their dreams.
