Hello from Australia!

We are Liam (39) and Brenton (39). We met in our early 20s when we were both working as theatre performers and we spent many years travelling across Australia and around the world. When we reached our mid-30s we decided to shift directions in our careers. Brenton now works for NIDA, a drama school based in Sydney in their corporate team and Liam is a theatre director, currently the Resident Director for the musical Mary Poppins.

We’ve been together for 17 years and we’re coming up on our 12th wedding anniversary, so our relationship has a very strong foundation. We both grew up in big families and have many nieces and nephews, so we’ve always wanted to have a family of our own. We currently have an 11-year-old pug-cross named Pete, but it’s time for our family to grow in new ways. Thanks to the generosity of an amazing friend, we have 6 healthy embryos stored in Sydney and we’re ready and excited to take the next step.

We try to live our life like one big adventure and having a baby is definitely the next significant chapter! We plan on instilling values of curiosity, generosity and gratitude in our child so that we can give them the very best footing to start off on their own adventure.
