A really common question we get is about the CONNECTION you will have to the baby:
BIOLOGICAL - One of the very fascinating things about a surrogate pregnancy by IVF is that you will not have a biological or DNA connection to the baby.
The baby will come from the eggs and sperm of the parents, possibly with the help of an egg or sperm donor if needed.
The baby will not come from your egg, or your partners sperm for that matter!
EMOTIONAL - This one is big, and going into a surrogacy, no one can tell you for sure how you will feel.
We can tell you, that having seen hundreds of surrogates through the process - the big feels are for the parents!
You'll love getting to know them, you'll be shedding tears as they meet the baby they've longed for! Surrogates care about the baby, but more like an auntie than the mom.
